A Letter about Photography
Who I Am
For those of you who don't know me, my name is Sage. I'm 28 years old, a husband to my wonderful wife, Carlee, and a father to two incredible boys, Atlas and Lennon. I've always been obsessed with creativity. Over the years, I've chased countless hobbies, started more projects than I can count, and dedicated thousands of hours to learning, creating, and building. None has captured me quite like photography.
My Approach
When it comes to photography, I don't believe every person should fit into the same mold. Before a session, I'm getting to know who you are. During the session, I'm paying attention to your energy, your expressions, your story, and the moments that feel genuine. Afterward, I'm editing with all of those things in mind. The way I shoot, direct, and edit is personal because people are personal. Your photographs should feel like you—not like the last twenty images I posted.
What I Value
I find more value in the individual than I do in the congruency of an Instagram feed. There are countless photographers whose beautifully curated galleries and cohesive styles inspire me every day. Their work is incredible. But for me, photography has always been about connection first. My goal isn't to make people fit my vision. My goal is to create photographs that feel honest to them.
Let's Create Something Together
Whether you're looking for senior portraits, family photographs, creative concepts, or something entirely your own, I'd love to hear your story.
Let's make something meaningful.
